Legend
This dataset uses 4 fields, including filters:
- Country: Name of country.
- Date (year): Year period during which the metrics are collected.
- Death Rate (per 1,000 people): Crude death rate indicates the number of deaths occurring during the year, per 1,000 population estimated at midyear. Subtracting the crude death rate from the crude birth rate provides the rate of natural increase, which is equal to the rate of population change in the absence of migration.
- Forest Area (km²): Forest area is land under natural or planted stands of trees of at least 5 meters in situ, whether productive or not, and excludes tree stands in agricultural production systems (for example, in fruit plantations and agroforestry systems) and trees in urban parks and gardens.
