Correlation of electricity production from nuclear sources and greenhouse gas emissions (CO2, CH4, N2O, HFCs, PFCs, SF6) by year in Vanuatu and in 2021

Updated: 66d ago

This scatter chart displays electricity production from nuclear sources (% of total) against greenhouse gas emissions (CO2, CH4, N2O, HFCs, PFCs, SF6) (Mt of CO2 equivalent) in Vanuatu. The data is filtered where the date is 2021. The data is about countries per year.

This chart uses 4 fields, including filters:

  • Date (year): Year period during which the metrics are collected.
  • Country: Name of country.
  • Electricity Production From Nuclear Sources (% of total): Sources of electricity refer to the inputs used to generate electricity. Nuclear power refers to electricity produced by nuclear power plants.
  • Greenhouse Gas Emissions (Co2, Ch4, N2o, Hfcs, Pfcs, Sf6) (Mt of CO2 equivalent): A measure of annual emissions of the six greenhouse gases (GHG) covered by the Kyoto Protocol (carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), perfluorocarbons (PFCs), and sulphurhexafluoride (SF6)) from the energy, industry, waste, and agriculture sectors, standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values. This measure excludes GHG fluxes caused by Land Use Change Land Use and Forestry (LULUCF), as these fluxes have larger uncertainties. The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
