This chart uses 4 fields, including filters:

  • Date (year): Year period during which the metrics are collected.
  • Country: Name of country.
  • Suicide Mortality Rate (per 100,000 population): Suicide mortality rate is the number of suicide deaths in a year per 100,000 population. Crude suicide rate (not age-adjusted).
  • Urban Population (people): Urban population refers to people living in urban areas as defined by national statistical offices. It is calculated using World Bank population estimates and urban ratios from the United Nations World Urbanization Prospects. Aggregation of urban and rural population may not add up to total population because of different country coverages.
